Sinaiticus Rev 4:8 holy 8x is Simonides late Byz text, not 4th--7th
Revelation 4:8 (AV)
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him;
and they were full of eyes within:
and they rest not day and night,
saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which was, and is, and is to come.
Holy, holy, holy
All the extant evidences before about 900 AD are for 3 holies.
Yet Sinaiticus has eight!
The whole concept of expanded holies only arose arise after John of Damascus and we only see it in extant texts around 900-1000 AD.
Any ms. written 900-1000 AD would not have the 4th-5th century ancient script of Sinaiticus.
Conclusion:
Simonides with the Russico Ramblers wrote this text with full knowledge of the expanded holies and Simonides likely used the Oetoechos c. 1840.
(And the extra holies were marked by dots, either for illumination or removal on the next draft.)

Victorinus of Petovium
7-10. The first living creature was like to a lion, and the second was like to a calf, and the third had a face like to a man, and the fourth was like to a flying eagle; and they had six wings, and round about and within they were full of eyes; and they had no rest, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord Omnipotent. And the four and twenty elders, falling down before the throne, adored God.

Athanasius on Luke 10:22
For the fact of those venerable living creatures offering their praises three times, saying “Holy, holy, holy,” proves that the three Subsistences are perfect, just as in saying “Lord” they declare the one essence.

Thus it was that thou, O Lord, who art not one thing in one place and another thing in another place but the Selfsame, and the Selfsame, and the Selfsame--"Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty"[465]--thus it was that in the beginning, and through thy Wisdom which is from thee and born of thy substance, thou didst create something and that out of nothinghttp://silkworth.net/augustine/book12/book12c7.html

Smaragdus
The holy living creatures affirm throughout every age the one dominion of the deity and the omnipotence and eternity of the holy Trinity with the perpetual praise of the rational creation abiding in heaven.

The dates, texts and manuscripts of the Greek Revelation commentaries are complex:
Oecumenius (c. 600)
Andreas of Caesarea (c. 620)
Arethas of Caesarea (860)
Oecumenius - 7 times - 990 AD
https://books.google.com/books?id=JORIkBaj9HcC&pg=PA23
That they say “holy” seven times indicates that they do this often and without ceasing, for the holy scriptures customarily use the number seven to mean “many.” The following may serve as examples: “The barren has borne seven children, but but she who has many children is grown weak;" "seven eyes of the Lord that range through the whole earth"; "the righteous person is saved seven times from necessity".
Also, translated by John N. Suggit:

Andreas of Caesarea
"these holy powers do not rest, never ceasing the divine hymnody and offering the threefold blessing to the Tri-hypostatic Divinity. And the who is and who was and who is to come we said means the Holy Trinity"

Andreas ... For first, besides other authors, he quotes Dionysius, the so-called Areopagite
Viz. on Apoc. iv. 8, “And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”.
=====================
This variant is special not just because Sinaiticus has a late Byzantine reading. It is surely possible that Sinaiticus could have a variant missing in early uncials that shows up in Byz mss.
Whar is unique here is that we know a lot about the tendency of “holies” and it really did not arise until after the music element which began around John of Damascus, c. 700 AD. There is not a hint or whiff of early holy expansions. That also is why it is absent in the versions.
This adds another impossibility to the side of the early Sinaiticus compared to the Mt. Athos 1800s production.
